Medborgarskolan is a study association with a humanistic value base that exists all over the country. Our courses and cultural activities engage nearly a million participants each year. Our activities are open to everyone. We combine enjoyable learning forms with high demands for quality and competence.

Medborgarskolan region East is a non-profit association that, in addition to traditional folk education, also conducts corporate training, preschool, and daily activities for people with disabilities. Region East includes Blekinge, Småland, and Östergötland.

We are looking for course leaders for our beginner courses in crochet and knitting!

Do you love to crochet or knit – and want to share your joy and knowledge with others? We are now looking for a warm and inspiring course leader who can hold beginner courses in crochet and/or knitting!

About the course
Our courses are aimed at people who are completely new or have little experience in crochet or knitting. The focus is on creating a fun, relaxed, and supportive environment where participants can learn the basics at their own pace.

Your tasks:

• Plan and lead beginner-friendly courses
• Teach basic techniques in a clear and motivating way
• Provide personal help and tips to participants
• Create a safe and creative atmosphere where everyone feels welcome

We are looking for someone who:

• Is skilled in crocheting and/or knitting
• Has patience, pedagogical ability, and enjoys meeting people
• Can explain in a simple and inspiring way
• Is responsible and engaged
• Preferably has previous experience in holding courses or workshops (but this is not a requirement)

• Course start and times will be determined together
• The courses will be held in [city/location]
• Compensation according to agreement
